This answer is in response to Cara’s question below:
“Hi Adam, enjoyed the videos this morning! I’ve been following a Louie Simmons strict shoulder strength program that I have been doing in the a.m. It is so hard to listen to your body and not overtrain…. Do you think it is possible to come up with a healthy balance of crossfit and strength programs like this?”
Thanks again for the question, Cara!
Here is the blog post I mention in the video as well as an overview of the MILO article:

I just quit my job and I am going to be awesome at both! Just kidding, crossfit is my passion and I want to use strength training to make me better. Thanks for taking the time to answer my question and look forward to coming up with a program.

I’m all for quitting jobs to do more training 🙂

Hi Cara, I suggest checking out the programming at CF Invictus. They do a great job, imo, of blending strength into a CF based program.
